You can publish to Bluesky from Ergora's Social Suite. Add your Bluesky handle and an app password once, write a post in the composer, and Ergora publishes it to your account. This guide covers what the Bluesky connection does today, how to set it up safely and what it does not do.
What the Bluesky connection does
Once Bluesky is connected, the Social Suite can:
- Publish a post to your account from the composer, with one image if you attach one (Bluesky's blob limit is 1 MB).
- Publish a thread, with follow-up posts chained under the first.
- Keep a Bluesky-specific version of your copy, since Bluesky posts are limited to 300 characters and your other channels are not.
- Schedule and approve. Posts can be scheduled from the Social Suite calendar or sent for approval to a teammate first, and scheduled posts are published at the time you set.
How to connect Bluesky
- In Bluesky, open Settings, then App Passwords, and create a new app password. Use this, never your main password.
- In Ergora's Social Suite, open the connections panel, choose Bluesky and enter your handle (for example yourname.bsky.social) and the app password.
- Ergora checks the details work with Bluesky, then Bluesky appears as a destination in the composer.
To disconnect, remove Bluesky in Ergora, which deletes the stored session, and delete the app password in Bluesky's settings to revoke it fully.
What it does not do
Ergora publishes to Bluesky. It does not read anything back. It does not read your timeline, mentions, replies or direct messages, it does not pull follower or engagement analytics, and it does not monitor conversations. Posts go out when you publish or schedule them, so review the text before you do.
Writing for a 300 character limit
Bluesky rewards short, specific posts. Write the full version for your longer channels first, then use the Bluesky variant for a tight version of the same idea, with a link if you need one. If a point needs more room, use a thread rather than cutting it until it is unclear.
What it costs
The Social Suite is part of the Content pack. One seat with the Content pack is from $158 a month ($99 seat plus $59 pack), with 50% off the first month and a 30-day money-back guarantee. There is no free plan. See the pricing page for seat plans and packs. To see what else the Content pack includes, visit Ergora for content or the features overview. The full list of what Ergora connects to is on the integrations page.

Can Ergora read my Bluesky notifications or analytics?
No. The connection is for publishing only.
Can I schedule Bluesky posts in Ergora?
Yes. The Social Suite has a scheduling calendar, and scheduled Bluesky posts are published at the time you set.
