Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember things like whether you are signed in or what you clicked last time. We also use a few similar technologies (local storage and third-party SDKs) that we group together as “cookies” for the purposes of this policy.
Essential: required to deliver the Service. Without these you can’t sign in, pay, or have your preferences remembered. We don’t need consent for these but we still tell you what they do.
Analytics: help us understand which pages and features are useful. Marketing-site analytics (Google Analytics 4) only load if you accept the analytics option in our cookie banner. Separately, our web servers keep a standard log of page requests (the page, the time, the browser type and your IP address) for 30 days to keep the Service secure and to count visits. That log sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. You can change your preference any time via Settings → Privacy or by clearing the ergora_cookie_consent entry from your browser’s storage. Analytics data is anonymised where possible. If you choose “Accept all”, Google may also combine it with your Google account activity to build advertising audiences. See Marketing below.
Marketing: if you choose “Accept all”, we turn on Google Signals in Google Analytics and allow Google’s advertising cookies (DoubleClick). This lets Google show you Ergora ads on other websites based on your visit and, if you are signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalisation enabled, include your activity in advertising audiences. Choose “Essential only” and none of this runs. We added this on 11 September 2026. Because it is a new purpose, we asked every visitor again at that point, including those who had accepted before, rather than treating earlier consent as covering it.

The first time you visit ergora.app we show a small banner asking whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can choose “Accept all” (loads analytics and enables Google advertising features) or “Essential only” (neither ever loads). Your choice is stored locally in your browser. If you want to change it, clear the ergora_cookie_consent and ergora_cookie_consent_v entries from your browser’s storage and reload. The banner will reappear. You can also opt out of Google’s ad personalisation directly at adssettings.google.com.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning.
